Love Me

When you read the title , what come to your mind ?

 


You must be thinking that I am asking you to love me. That's not wrong.
I do want people to love me. Well, who want to be hated?
But, that is not what this post is about . It is actually just a little bit about myself. What I love about myself and things about me that I am proud or at least not embarrassed to share with you. So, if you don't mind knowing me, keep reading.  :)

First, I want you to know that I really, really love myself. I used to think that I am not good enough. And I keep telling myself to change. That was in the past. I don't know when it started, but I grew to love myself little by little until now I can say that I am proud to be me and living my life in my own way. I'm still trying to change myself, not because I am not satisfied with the 'me' now, but changing toward a better 'me'. But, of course I am not looking for perfection. Nobody is perfect, right ?

One thing that I am proud about myself and I love boasting about is my birth-date. I was born on 12th February, same goes to my father. Lucky  me ! I like to think of myself as a birthday gift from my mother to my father. And I always make sure that I am the most wonderful gift he ever had. Because it is my father's birth-date, I never forget my birthday either. So, nobody had ever succeed in giving me birthday surprise.  :p

I am a nice person. Well ... most people said so. To be more accurate, actually I find it hard to said 'no' when others ask for a favor. Since people think of me as a nice person, I always try to live up to their expectation. So in the end, I find it even harder for me to refuse others. But, I am fine with that. I'm happy to be helpful. And I'm happy that people rely on me. And helping others give me benefit too. I don't think helping others so that they would help you someday is wrong. I know I shouldn't help someone hoping that they would do the same for me but I can't help hoping so.
